Project Name: Continuing Professional Development (CPD) – Communications and Thinking Skills for Interior Designers
Innovation and technology are in line with economic development in the world, practitioners of every industry go into much more complicated skill requirements, and also bring in line with the increasing competitiveness of developing economies, CPD has become a basic requirement in Hong Kong now. Creative industry is seen to be one of the emerging sectors contributing to the diversification of Hong Kong’s economy and has been developed as one of the key industries in Hong Kong today. As part of the creative industry, HKIDA developed 2 CPD modules and provided online CPD workshops to our practitioners through the PASS Fund support to enhance their professional knowledge and skills for the interior industry.
While design thinking is gaining importance and acquiring situational meaning in broader fields, this webinar aims to explore the application of design thinking across disciplines. Its purpose is to assist interior designers in retaining this skillset, adapting it to their own specific contexts, and creating interior design spaces with value.
