Certified Interior Designers

Introduction

HKIDA fosters and enhances the professionalism of interior design in Hong Kong by awarding the Certified Interior Designer.  Certified Interior Designers (HKIDA) enjoy prestige professional status.

Requirement:

Certified Interior Designers (HKIDA) must holders of Full Membership who passed in the Panel Review after completed CPD courses organized by HKIDA.

Continuing Professional Development (CPD)
Full Members of HKIDA are required to complete Continung Professional Development courses (CPD) throughout their careers in order to renew the membership.  The requirements for CPD thereon are flexible and credits can be acquired in various ways, including but not limited to:

  • Speaking at, moderating or attending interior design conferences, seminars and courses
  • Teaching and mentoring design students
  • Organizing or participating in interior design exhibitions
  • Undertaking research or writing article on interior design
  • Acquiring additional interior design-related qualifications
  • Joining the judging panel for interior design competition
